Will And The People are back and returning to Bournemouth on their UK for their new album. With influences from reggae, pop, grunge, ska, and house their totally unique sound provides something for everyone and their ability to mix all the above and develop a style of its own upholds the best part of music, the fun part, whilst remaining true to themselves and creating an individuality difficult to compete with. If you didn’t know they were from London you would be forgiven for thinking they spawned from the Australian scene that has produced bands like The Cat Empire, Skegss, Hockey Dad and Ocean Alley.
It is refreshing and uplifting to see a band have this much fun and energy for what they do, they are just having a good time doing what they love. A simple yet enviable state of affairs that we all desire; a luxury we may not always be able to achieve, but when we can’t, we can put on Will and The People and feel a little bit better!

They get their inspiration from the music of The Beatles , The Doors , Supertramp , Bob Marley , The Police , John Lennon and Jerry Lee Lewis. Their debut album of the same name was released on May 18, 2012. The album reached 28th place in the Dutch Album Top 100. Prior to the album, the single Lion in the Morning Sun was released, which became a hit in the Netherlands. In week 19 of 2012 the song became a 3FM Megahit on 3FM. The single reached tenth place in the Dutch Single Top 100 and number nine in the Dutch Top 40.
